2011 Rodeo Features

Rodeo Announcer Roger Mooney
ProRodeo announcer Roger Mooney returns to the 38th annual North American Championship Rodeo in 2011. Known for announcing rodeos from the back of his horse, Roger is a household name among rodeo fans across America. He has served as announcer twice at the Las Vegas National Finals Rodeo and multiple times at the Dodge National Circuit Finals. He is the featured announcer at more than 45 rodeos across the nation annually. When he’s not traveling, Roger makes his home in Ellijay, Georgia.



Rodeo Clown Rockin’ Robbie Hodges
Robbie is one of the hottest barrel men and all round funny man in the professional rodeo world. Quick wit and off the cuff banter keep the Freedom Hall crowd laughing and entertained. Louisville fans love Robbie and he loves them right back!



Special Entertainer Tommie Turvey
Tommie Turvey is a life-long hands-on horseman and an Equine Extremist(tm). He has been training and riding horses his entire life. His passion for this animal led him into the entertainment field where he worked his way up to become the most exciting and versatile performer in the industry today. Tommie has been featured at the best equine shows in the world and continues to perform in front of sold out shows. He travels the U.S. and Canada performing his famous comedy act with his horse Pokerjoe, "The Riding Instructor" as well as "extreme" excitement and fast action Roman Riding. Tommie shows his remarkable relationship with horses as he dances, rides, and often connects with his horse without tack, saddle or bridle!
