from all over the United States and Canada with an estimated

impact of $11.6 million (University

- Approximately
225,000 visitors attend the exposition each year
- Nine different
livestock types compete in the exposition including dairy cattle, dairy
goats, llamas & alpacas, draft horses, quarter horses, swine, sheep,
boer goats, and beef cattle
- The North
American Quarter Horse Show is among the top five shows in the nation
- North American
International purebred beef and sheep events are the largest in the
world
- The exposition
holds seven major youth judging contests which include the following:

- The North American
Sale of Champions features six young people who have won the highest
honors in market lamb, steer, and swine classes
- The annual
Farm/City Luncheon features the announcement of the "Agribusiness
of the Year" and the fun-filled "Wing Tip Rodeo"
- The Giant Country
Store features nearly 150 commercial vendors who sell everything from
fine jewelry and food to western clothing and farm supplies
- The North American
Championship Rodeo is the invitational finals for the Pro Rodeo Cowboys
Association (PRCA)
- The
total purse of the North American Championship Rodeo is in the
top 10 percent
of all PRCA rodeo prize money and is the second largest purse for a
circuit finals
