Instructions for Entering Livestock Through the Internet Important Information You Need to Know Before Registering Online Online Entry registration will be accepted for Dairy Cattle, Beef Cattle, Sheep, Dairy Goats, Swine, and Boer Goats. NO Horse entries or Judging Contest entries may be registered through the internet. Do NOT enter any group classes, champion classes or herdsman classes. Enter an animal only in the individual class in the show for which it is eligible. All group entries will be done during the show. All deadlines will still be enforced for online entries.
Payment: There will be a $25 service charge for declined credit cards. If your credit card is not accepted, we will notify you. Your entries will NOT be accepted until payment is received. There are NO refunds for entry fees. Entry fees do not dictate the amount of stall space assigned. You will NOT be able to purchase blocking chute permits, exhibitor or season passes UNLESS you have animals entered. Please note that there are different entry fees and entry deadlines for some breed's shows. Many breeds require the entries and/or fees to be sent elsewhere. That policy will still apply. Entry Process: Several shows do NOT require all the pedigree information on the animal. Some examples are the Steers, Pen of Three, Swine, Market Lambs, Wool, and Lead Line. With these entries make sure you enter the division and class and complete the exhibitor, owner, and fee information. The terms "Division" and "Section" mean the same thing. If the animal is entered in both the Open and Junior shows, it must
be entered twice Animals that are waiting on registration papers can leave out the missing information except, we must have the date of birth on the animal to enter in the computer for all breeding classes. The Junior Jersey show and Junior Market Swine show require the youth’s date of birth. Please enter the date of birth on the exhibitor screen if the name is the same, or under additional comments if the name is not the same. Exhibitors and Owners: "Exhibitor" and "Owner" names are required and can be different names. The “Owner” is the name listed on the
registration papers. In market classes, it is the name of the junior
exhibitor. Please
type last name, then first name. If there are partners, type these
names after the first in standard order (first name, last name).
It may become necessary to abbreviate long names. When using a farm
name for “Owner,” type it in like it reads. Dairy cattle
exhibitors need to refer to the Herd Unit Rule #1 on age 44 of the
Premium List for clarification. Some examples of how you would type
in the “Owner” name: The "Exhibitor" is the "Payee" and will get the premium check. The premium check will be sent to the exhibitor. We can only pay one person or farm. If using a farm name, leave the first name field blank and use the last name field for the farm name. It is important you fill out all of the exhibitor information so that we can contact you. You can use a Federal ID number instead of a Social Security number. Canadian exhibitors are exempt. Additional Entries: If you have submitted and finalized entries and want to make additional entries, you MUST start over with a new log-in ID and exhibitor name. After Completing Your Entry: Please review your receipt for errors when you receive it (not when you get ready to come to the show). If there are any errors, please mark them and fax the receipt back to us to be corrrected. This will help us document the process. We do NOT accept phone corrections. Please do NOT duplicate your entry by mailing and/or faxing the same information. We will acknowledge all entries by mailing a receipt with all your entry information, a credit card receipt, and other information. This should follow in about a week after receiving your entry. Please understand that, due to the high volume of entries, it may be difficult to locate your entry until it is completely processed and filed. If You Have Problems: It is possible that due to circumstances such as the age of your computer and software that you will not be able to enter online. If this is the case, please use the traditional methods of registration. There may be other instances where the electronic transfer of your data will not work. Please be patient as you proceed through this process. If you still have difficulty and need to contact the NAILE office, call (502) 595-3166 or (502) 367-5293; fax (502) 367-5299; or e-mail
